What is an End-of-Life Doula?
An End-of-Life Doula, also known as a death doula or a dying companion, is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and spiritual support to individuals and their families during the end-of-life journey. Similar to birth doulas who assist during childbirth, end-of-life doulas are there to support and guide individuals as they navigate the dying process.
The Role of an End-of-Life Doula
End-of-life doulas provide invaluable support and guidance during one of life's most profound transitions. By offering emotional comfort, practical assistance, companionship, and legacy work, they help individuals and families navigate the end-of-life journey with dignity and compassion. If you or a loved one is facing this stage of life, consider the benefits of engaging an end-of-life doula to ensure a more peaceful and meaningful experience.
You only get one chance to have the end of life go well. I offer my doula services to the dying and their families to help make their transition as tender and peaceful as possible. My intention is also for no one in our community to die alone.
I lovingly offer the following services to help you during this time:
Fee: $25 per hour. Discounted packages are available upon request.
